SAS is a widely-used program for advanced statistical analysis, business intelligence and data management. SAS certification is a great way to distinguish yourself from your peers with a prospective employer. Becoming certified requires you to pass a SAS certification exam. For example, the exam for SAS Base Programmer Certification is based on the material in the “SAS Programming II: Data Manipulation Techniques” course. Before taking this course, you should know the material in the “SAS Programming Introduction: Basic Concepts” and the “SAS Programming I: Essentials” courses.
UNCG students, faculty and staff may take all of the SAS classes listed above for free, thanks to the generosity of SAS Institute. For the complete list of available courses, see Free E-Learning Courses for Instructors and Students. In addition to free SAS e-learning, there are opportunites for discounted SAS certification exams as well.
For details on how you can take advantage of these UNCG opportunties and work towards a SAS certification, see SAS Certification (login with iSpartan ID required).
