[Original post 11/30 10:40 a.m.]
A distributed denial of service attack (DDoS), similar to last night’s attack, is currently affecting authentication to multiple campus services, including Google, Canvas, Office 365, Box, and Qualtrics. The attack began 9:00 a.m. and is ongoing.
While the attack continues, you will not be able to access these services from off-campus. Access from on-campus should be unaffected.
Information Technology Services (ITS) is investigating the issue with our internet service provider and will update this news article as soon as more information and details are available.
ITS apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this issue. If you have additional questions or need more information, please contact 6-TECH at (336) 256-TECH (8324) or 6-TECH@uncg.edu.
