Google Jamboard is a collaborative digital canvas application. Collaborators can create online interactions (called “Jams”) and can collaborate by way of the desktop browser and mobile apps. In addition, where available, Google’s digital whiteboard device – a Jamboard – can be central to the collaboration.
Jamboards allow for natural drawing and sketching, enhanced by Google’s AI, which facilitates transforming handwritten text and doodles into type and images. Search the internet to locate content and images, for example from Google Photos and Maps, to pull them into a Jam. Jamboard’s integration with G Suite for Education allows for incorporating work from Doc, Sheets and Slides and files stored in Drive. Project Jams into Hangouts. Jams are automatically saved to Google Drive.
Download the Jamboard mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
