Information Technology Services

Update: 3/7/18 10:00 a.m.

Information Technology Services (ITS) has corrected an issue that prevented the synchronization of passwords to Google via Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) for some users.

Users who reset their passwords between February 27th and March 7th may not be able to use their new password with some Google-related applications on Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows. The most common example is email software that uses IMAP or POP to sync with UNCG Gmail (Thunderbird, and some configurations of Outlook).

If you reset your password during this time, ITS encourages you to perform another reset at reset.uncg.edu.

If you have questions or need more information, please contact 6-TECH at (336) 256-TECH (8324) or 6-TECH@uncg.edu.
