Who: MyCloud users
What: Planned downtime for infrastructure migrations and hardware upgrades to coincide with the 1812-18 MyCloud Release.
When: Tuesday, December 18, 2018, 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Why: Hardware refresh and site upgrades
Client Action Required: Prior to this upgrade and migration, any Apps or Desktops that were configured as a Favorite will need to be reconfigured. Then users can again find their Apps in the Start Menu.
During the maintenance window, there will be potential connectivity issues to MyCloud resources — please plan accordingly.
As part of this migration, the following resources will be migrated to the new MyCloud site and hardware.
- Campus Desktop
- Student Desktop
- Secure Desktop
- Adobe CC Apps (ITS Labs Only)
MyCloud RemotePC users will be migrated to the new MyCloud site starting Friday, December 14. No user intervention or impact is expected.
