Update (Resolved): 6/18/2019, 1:30 p.m.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., Google reported that the problem with Google Calendar was resolved and the service should be functioning normally now.

As of 12:30 p.m., Information Technology Services (ITS) confirms that there are ongoing issues affecting Google Calendar.

Some users may experience issues accessing Hangouts Meet events that were created from within Google Calendar. A workaround is to create a Hangouts Meet event using http://meet.google.com and share the link directly with participants.

ITS continues to monitor the issue, and this article will be updated with more information as it becomes available.

Information Technology Services (ITS) is aware of an issue with Google Calendar. UNCG as well as other institutions have reported the problem to Google.

Google has acknowledged the issue and will provide details on its status page.

ITS will update this article as more information becomes available or when the problem is resolved.
