UNCG G Suite users can now enable the Zoom for GSuite Add-on, available in the G Suite Marketplace.  The Add-on allows a Zoom Meeting to be created in Gmail and Google Calendar. In Gmail, a user can launch their personal Zoom Meeting room. In Calendar, a user can add a Zoom meeting to an event. Details concerning joining the meeting will be present in the calendar entry as well as the email received by invitees. The Add-on can be accessed via the right sidebar in G Suite.

To install the Add-on, visit the G Suite Marketplace and find the Zoom for G Suite Add-on.

Click Install. Identify the account and grant permission to the application.

Once installed, users will need to authenticate into Zoom using the Sign-in with SSO option and entering the UNCG domain of uncg.zoom.us.

Users must authorize the Zoom for G Suite application to access and modify Google calendar.

Zoom meeting details are added directly to the event.
