What: MyCloud User Profile Reset

Why: Fix a known issue with user profiles in MyCloud

Information Technology Services (ITS) has discovered an issue with the previous version of MyCloud User Profile Management software. This issue causes existing profiles to become corrupted and prevents login or launch of apps. The fix is to perform a reset.

As a preventative measure, ITS will reset all user profiles for the Campus Desktop in MyCloud and select user profiles for the Secure Desktop in MyCloud. 

User profiles store application and Windows OS settings, including custom printer or drive mappings, so any custom mapped network drives or printers will also have to be restored by the user after the reset. However, personal files stored in folders, such as Desktop or Documents, will not be deleted from the Campus or Secure Desktop.
