What: ILE downtime

When: Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 p.m. – Sunday, July 31, 2022, 11:59 p.m.

Starting Friday, July 29 at 10:00 p.m., the Instructional Linux Environment (ILE) will be offline while Information Technology Services (ITS) migrates the User and Group storage volumes on MyFiles to the new storage platform. Due to ILE’s dependence on this storage, it must be taken offline to make sure no data is lost. 

ITS expects the storage migration to be completed and the ILE service restored by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 31. For the most up-to-date information on when ILE will be restored, see the ITS system status page at System Status – 6-TECH: The UNCG Self Service Portal.
