What: Information Technology Services (ITS) will replace some network switches in the following buildings:
- First Phase:
- Start: Monday, May 13, at 8:00 a.m.
- End: Friday, May 17, at 5:00 p.m.
- Buildings Affected: Shaw, Hinshaw, Gray, Bailey, Cotten, Jamison, Coit, Moore-Strong, Phillips-Hawkins, Reynolds, Grogan, South Spencer, North Spencer, Guilford, Mary-Foust, Ragsdale-Mendenhall, Weil-Winfield, Cone, Tower Village, Spring Garden Apartments, Jefferson Suites, Lee Hall, Highland Hall, Union Hall, McCormick Hall, Lexington Hall, Lofts on Lee.
- Second Phase:
- Start: Monday, May 20, at 5:00 p.m.
- End: Saturday, May 25, at 2:00 a.m.
- Hours: All changes will happen during the evening hours (5:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.)
- Buildings Affected: Gove Health, Moran Commons, Jackson Library, EUC, Alumni House, Faculty Center, Foust, Gray Home, Coleman, 1510 Walker, Soccer Stadium, Softball Stadium, Petty, Stone, Carmichael, Brown, UNCG Auditorium, Taylor, Forney, Moore-Nursing, Eberhart, Nursing and Instructional Bldg., 326 Tate St, 328 Tate St, 1100 West Market, Music, Baseball Stadium, Armfield-Preyer, Mossman, Bryan, School of Education, 723 Kenilworth, Walker Deck, Chemical Safety, Oakland Deck, Curry, Campus Supply, McNutt, Graham, Ferguson.
- Third Phase
- Start: Tuesday, May 28, at 5:00 p.m.
- End: Friday, May 31, at 8:00 p.m.
- Hours: All changes will happen during the evening hours (5:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.)
- Buildings Affected: Weatherspoon Art Museum, 821 S Josephine Boyd, 840 Neal St, MHRA, Studio Arts, UNCG Police, Kaplan Center, Kaplan Central Utilities, Becher-Weaver, 101 S Elm St, North Campus-Dixon, North Campus-Mehl, JSNN.
During the upgrade, wired and wireless services may be intermittent or unavailable.
