The evaluation of macOS Sonoma which was announced on September 25, 2023, is complete. The upgrade is now available for UNCG Mac users.

{Original Post 9/25/2023 – UNCG Mac Users Should Not Upgrade to macOS Sonoma 14.0 until Further Notice}

Apple has announced macOS Sonoma 14.0 will be released in late September 2023. Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Mac Advisory Committee are evaluating the new operating system’s (OS) compatibility with UNCG enterprise applications and network configurations. 

ITS support will not be available for macOS Sonoma 14.0 until the evaluation is complete.

Preliminary testing revealed that the version of Jamf Connect is not compatible with macOS Sonoma 14.0. You will be unable to log into the computer if you upgrade to macOS Sonoma 14.0 before the evaluation is complete.
